The Osprey range covers most of North and Central America. It will sometimes migrate as far south as the coastal areas of South America. While Bald Eagles will snatch fish from the surface of the water, Osprey will dive feet first up to a meter in depth to capture fish.

I have had the pleasure of photographing Osprey in Florida, Maryland, Montana and Texas.

My personal goal is to someday capture an Osprey just as it hits the water to snatch a fish. Until then, I hope you enjoy the photos that I have been able to take.
